The AvWx.net maps will work on any cell phone with a color screen and Internet browsing service. We have set up a free test page with sample maps so you can verify operation with your phone.
To check the compatability of your phone simply start your browser and surf to: If you can see the maps there, you can use the system. There is a list of popular phones used on AvWx.net by other pilots. This list shows the 25 most popular phones. We also have a list of all of the actively used phones which shows all of the phone models used on the system in the last 90 days. Both of these lists show up to the minute information from our system database, so they are always current. AvWx.net Radar Maps are web-based, so you don't have to download an application into your cell phone. This means that the AvWx.net system isn't taking up space in your phone when you're not using it. |
